Next to the upcoming Jazz in the Gardens giveaway by The Nassau Guardian and Star 106.5 FM, the next best thing would be winning complete packages (airfare, car, hotel and concert tickets) for two people to experience Rihanna's Anti World Tour concert in Miami on March 15. Through the promotion, Hot 91.7 with Going Places Travel will give four people the opportunity to take in Rihanna live at the American Airlines Arena, in Miami, through the promotion.

Entering the promotion is easy. All people have to do is listen to Hot 91.7 daily and whenever they hear two Rihanna songs played back-to-back, they should attempt to be the ninth caller into the station at telephone numbers 328-6868 or 328-6884 and their name will automatically be entered into the drawing. To seal the deal, they have to be present at the Levels party at the Superclubs Breezes ballroom when the names of two lucky people will be drawn for the opportunity for four people to take in Rihanna live.

The Levels R&B and Urban party with a Caribbean mix thrown in kicks off at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 11, and will feature music from Hot's radio personalities DJ CRX, AI, Energy and Spleen. Admission is $10 women and $15 men before 11 p.m.

Those hoping to be lucky to win the Rihanna tickets can also enter the drawing via social media, on Hot's Facebook page by liking and sharing their Rihanna Fly Away Video with the hashtag #PartywithHot91.

"We will be fulfilling some people's dreams," said Tony Williams, Hot 91.7 programming director. "In The Bahamas we have a lot of Rihanna fans and we wanted to give people who normally wouldn't get the opportunity to see Rihanna live, the opportunity to do so. And it gives us great pleasure to be able to award our listeners. And they will be getting good seats in front of the stage. They aren't nosebleed seats."

The winners will be among the thousands witnessing Rihanna who holds the distinction of having been the youngest solo artist to score 13 number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the fastest to do so. She's also sold more than 54 million albums and 210 million tracks worldwide.

And of course the opportunity to hear her possibly perform hits from her new Anti album as well as much-loved hits of yesteryear from her dynamic debut album, "Music of the Sun" which garnered attention due to the popularity of her highly addictive dancehall-flavored first single "Pon de Replay". A year later, she delivered the platinum-selling sophomore set "A Girl Like Me" featuring the number one singles "SOS" and "Unfaithful".

It was 2007's "Good Girl Gone Bad" that catapulted Rihanna into icon status. Moving away from her Caribbean music roots, the singer reinvented by shifting to more up-tempo dance tracks. Leading the charge was the album's first single "Umbrella."

Prepare to be jazzed
And just one day before the Rihanna fly away winners are announced, the three lucky people that will win all-inclusive packages to take in acts like Usher, Aretha Franklin, Kenny "Babyface Edmonds, Janelle Monae, Brian Culbertson, Michael McDonald, Kool and The Gang, Fred Hammond, The Average White Band and the Jazz in the Gardens All-Stars featuring Regina Belle, Najee and Alex Bugnon at the 11th Annual Jazz in the Gardens (JITG) Music Festival courtesy of The Nassau Guardian and Star 106.5 FM will be announced.

Williams is also excited that The Nassau Guardian and Star 106.5 FM will give a number of people the opportunity to take in the experience that is JITG free of charge, especially as it offers something for everybody, and this year there's even a gospel performance with Fred Hammond.

As a winner will be selected from each mode of entry, people are being encouraged to enter across all mediums as often as possible to give themselves a better chance of their entry being selected.

"We love our readers and our listeners, and so we're giving them real opportunities to win, and different ways for a chance to win. And they can enter as many times as they want," said Williams.
