The Bahamas Kennel Club (BKC) will be holding their annual dog show Clifford Park March 19 & 20th. The show will feature breed competition as well as obedience and agility trials with special classes for neutered and spayed dogs and the Bahamian Potcake. There are also classes for Junior Handlers.

The BKC would like to encourage dog owners to enter their dogs in the show.

“The Bahamas Kennel Club has been holding this special show which features International and Bahamian Dogs. Over the years the club has grown and added Obedience, Agility and Rally Classes to the annual show,” said Elizabeth Williams, BKC President.

Entry forms are available on the BKC website www.bahamaskc.org or email info@bahamaskc.org. You can also call 359–2020 or 677-5220 for further information.

“Several of our Bahamian dogs are now competing in the US in Obedience, Agility and Rally classes,” commented Tonya Gay of Follow the Leader Dog Training.

Club members all agree that the addition of the performance classes has been in a large part due to support from the show’s major sponsor Purina.
