RBC Royal Bank sponsors 5,000 to Salvation Army annual luncheon

Over 750 individuals benefited from the recent $5,000 sponsorship by RBC Royal Bank to The Salvation Army's annual Christmas luncheon. Each participant received a hot holiday meal and a pre-packaged food hamper.
"This partnership and annual event are very special to us at RBC. I am honored to represent RBC Royal Bank in expressing our gratitude for this opportunity to invest in our community," said Marcus Hutcheson, branch manager of RBC Royal Bank, Mackey Street.
For years RBC Royal Bank has supported the annual luncheon that provides the elderly and families with a nutritious meal.
Each year RBC Royal Bank supports this initiative by donating $5,000 in addition to soliciting volunteers to assist with serving food and distributing the food hampers during the luncheon.
RBC is also a corporate sponsor of the Salvation Army's Annual Community Luncheon, the "Christmas Kettle" drive, and throughout the year with other volunteer opportunities including the RBC Day of Service Grants.
"Our purpose at RBC Royal Bank is to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. To this end, we are pleased to continue our support to The Salvation Army, which has proven over the years to have benefited thousands of individuals within our community," said Hutcheson.
Major Clarence Ingram, divisional commander for the Salvation Army Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Divisions expressed gratitude for RBC's continued support of The Salvation Army.
