Three charitable organizations were the recipients of a cheque for $6,000 each on Friday evening, thanks to the generosity of Bahamas Striping Group of Companies and Caribbean Pavement Solutions. The presentations were made at Pelican Bay Resort.

Guest speaker for the evening, Minister for Grand Bahama the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville noted that he was pleased to celebrate with "a group of dynamic young businessmen." This, he said, is what the country is all about -- coming from humble beginnings but through hard work and dedication, building something meaningful.
