Party-goers heading to this week’s Festival RumBahamas will have a sweet treat to look forward to thanks to a recent partnership between organizers and Milo Butler Distributors. Jack Frost is now the official sugar sponsor for the decadent festival of rum, food and fun at Fort Charlotte. Participants will experience the sugar brand while sipping on the event’s signature drink— the Dirty Mule.

Margo Gibson, Brand Manager at Milo Butler, said the sponsorship with Festival RumBahamas is a sweet deal for both parties. “At Milo Butler, we’re always looking for creative ways to connect our brands with Bahamian consumers,” she said. “We thought it was a good fit to partner with the organizers to use Jack Frost as the official sugar sponsor for the event.”

Catherine Chisnall-Mitchell, Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator for RumBahamas, thanked Milo Butler for partnering with the festival.

“As we continue to celebrate rum as a unique part of Bahamian heritage and culture, we are pleased to have Jack Frost sign on as our official sugar sponsor. Sugar is an important component of our event especially for the creation of our signature drink- the Dirty Mule,” Chisnall-Mitchell explained. “We realize that the success of this event is due largely to our sponsors who see the vision we have and work with us to execute it.  So we say a big ‘Thank You’ to the team at Milo Butler.”

The company has been the exclusive distributor for Jack Frost in The Bahamas since 2007. The product is made from pure cane sugar. Festival RumBahamas is set for this weekend, February 26-28th at the top of historic Fort Charlotte.
