Salvation Army presents NEMA with refrigerators and stoves for hurricane relief

The Salvation Army presented the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) with 19 refrigerators and 19 stoves for residents who lost household items during the passage of Category 4 Hurricane Joaquin through the Central and Southeast Bahamas in October 2015. The handover was done on Monday, February 15, 2016 at CostRight Wholesale Club in the Town Centre Mall, where the appliances were purchased. On hand were, from left: Delicia Armbrister, Administrative Assistant, Salvation Army; Major Miller Cantave, Divisional Secretary, Salvation Army; Captain Stephen Russell, Director, NEMA; Raymond Rolle, General Manager, CostRight; Barbara Burrows, National Repair and Recovery Unit; and Deangelo Duncombe, Human Resources Manager, CostRight.
