Overseen by HKS Architects and New York-based Jeffrey Beers International, the project included a redesign for all accommodations within the historic Hartford Wing, as well as the addition of a 125-foot-long infinity pool.

Once the private estate of Huntington Hartford II – heir to the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company – the 52-room Hartford wing expanded its guestrooms by 110 square feet, offering expansive terraces and providing ocean and garden views.

Accommodations in the grand colonial manor have been updated to include custom furnishings and a locally inspired colour palette including cerulean blues, aquamarine, and the bleached white reminiscent of Bahamian sand.

“At One&Only Ocean Club, we want to keep introducing new experiences and now the new beachfront Ocean Pool only strengthens the choice for guests,” said Mark DeCocinis, President/Chief Operating Officer, One&Only Resorts.

“I look forward to welcoming guests back to a resort that is now better than ever with our passionate team, led by General Manager, John Conway, providing the best service in The Bahamas.”

Set in the most exotic locales in the world, the award-winning One&Only Resorts offers awe-inspiring luxury with world-class facilities and amenities.
