In an effort to continue the support for cancer awareness, Odyssey Aviation donated a portion of their revenues on fuel sales from the month of October to the Bahamas Cancer Society. The contribution is in recognition of The Bahamas Cancer Society's admirable work in assisting patients and families from the Bahamas Family Islands, where they provide a home away from home at the Cancer Caring Centre.
Steven K. Kelly, President of Odyssey Aviation said, "This is the time of year we get-together with our friends and families and thank our blessings, and we reflect on the year that has passed. It is also a time to help those who are in need and to support those who are suffering.
"Odyssey Aviation takes pride in being the best corporate citizen we can possibly be, we hope that our contribution will bring some comfort. I'm told cancer is the number-two killer in The Bahamas but, with the right care, it is also a disease that can be overcome. The Cancer Society needs our support and we encourage others to donate whatever they can."
