Nassau, Bahamas - In an
auditorium packed with students, Minister of Education, the Hon.
Desmond Bannister, sang the praises of outstanding students for the
year 2010-2011. Minister Bannister delivered the keynote address at the
Annual National Awards Presentation and Exhibition held on Thursday,
January 20 at the Church of God Auditorium.

"One of the major goals of the Ministry of Education's Annual Awards
Presentation and Exhibition is to highlight the performance of students
in our national examinations - the Bahamas Junior Certificate (BJC) and
the Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE)," said
