Investment and trade mission brings business networking opportunities to local companies

Delegation from Hubei, China visits Grand Bahama seeking investment opportunities
FREEPORT, The Bahamas -- Representatives from more than 20 companies based in Hubei, China will visit Grand Bahama this month in search of potential investment opportunities as part of "Investment and Trade Mission: Hubei, China to The Bahamas". The event will take place on November 29 through to December 2 at The Grand Lucayan.
Sponsored by Immerse Bahamas in collaboration with the Bahamas Government and Hubei Provincial People's Government, the historic event will join local business leaders with representatives from Hubei, China for talks on future collaborations and industry development.
Immerse Bahamas President and CEO Ginger Moxey said the trade mission would assist Grand Bahamian businesses with building mutually beneficial partnerships with global entities.
"We're going to have one-on-one matchmaking sessions where participating companies will have the chance to sit down with the Hubei companies and discuss business objectives with the intention of finding potential business opportunities," Ms Moxey said, adding that participating companies would be paired off based on their industries.
