Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC), the local producer of Coca-Cola products, is proud to be the official beverage provider for the Bahamas Roadmasters third Bahamas Half Marathon, Relay & 10K (kilometer) Race. CBC is providing Dasani Water, and Powerade (a sports drink) for each aid station along the route and at the finish line. Each volunteer of the event will get a Powerade or Dasani T-shirt compliments of CBC, to encourage the runners.

"The Bahamas Roadmasters and the Bahamas Half team are eagerly looking forward to another fun and exciting event. Participants can expect a first-class experience that is on par with any of the big international events around the world. We are thankful for our sponsors, especially Caribbean Bottling Company for donating all of the beverages, and shirts for our volunteers. We are also grateful to our supporters for helping us to stage this event, allowing us to give back to those less fortunate in our community," explained Anastasia Turnquest, secretary of Bahamas Roadmasters Running Club.

"Here at Caribbean Bottling we believe in supporting activities and events that encourage healthy living and community outreach," said Brand Manager Karla Lisgaris. "Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled and Hurricane Joaquin relief, so not only is it a healthy event in terms of getting us out there and active, it's helping to raise funds for a worthy cause."

The Bahamas Roadmasters Half Marathon, Relay & 10K Race will be held on Sunday, November 22 at 6 a.m. Interested persons may register online at www.bahamashalf.com or at the Harbour Bay Sports Centre location.
