Human rights activist concerned about recent murder

Police sources on Sunday said the murder of Inderia Barry, who was reportedly a lesbian, may have been a "hate crime".
Barry's body was found near Faith United Way, off Blue Hill Road South Saturday with only a gray hooded sweater and a white T-shirt on.
Human rights activist Erin Greene bemoaned the murder of a second young woman within one week. Barry's death came on the heels of the murder of 39-year-old Denise Adderley, who was shot with a shotgun while sitting in her car at a Wulff Road Texaco service station.
"The levels of violence displayed by Bahamians in the last few weeks is disappointing, particularly the horrendous crimes against women," said Greene.
