Second only to Cuba, Bahamas has the highest incidence of divorce in the Caribbean per 1000 population and ranks among the top 20 countries in the world. The social impact of divorce on our society is far reaching and deserves our undivided attention. Note the following research based facts.

§  Half of all children born to married parents this year will experience the divorce of their parents before they reach their 18th birthday.

§  The divorce of parents before a child reaches 10 is a major predictor of adolescent delinquency and adult criminality.

“Winning Your Marriage” is an initiative of the Family Life Department of SBC to offer families the drive, skills, and tools to divorce proof their marriages.

Couples from all walks of life will be enriched through workshops and led by Christian professional Family Life experts and climax in a solemn service of recommitment.
