Cable Bahamas subscribers will get a new movie channel added to their Prime basic cable service starting October 15. The premium movie channel, Cinemax, will be added to channel 21 and channel 462 in the basic package. SyFy will be moving to Prime Select and a new premium movie package, FOX+, starts a two-week free preview on the same date.
Cinemax is one of the top premium movie channels that includes content from the major Hollywood studios such as Buena Vista International, Columbia, Universal and Warner Bros. Cinemax will also feature special programs on Hollywood entertainment, movie festivals as well as exclusive original HBO series premieres. The new movie addition to Prime comes at no additional charge for REVTV subscribers.
SyFy, the channel that features supernatural, fantasy, paranormal, wrestling, reality and science fiction, will be moving to channel 222 on Prime Select, the second tier of REVTV services, which adds 80 additional channels for $5.95 per month. Changes in licencing agreements necessitated moving SyFy to the second tier of cable TV service.

"In the very near future, we will be delivering Cinemax Go, the online Cinemax service and mobile app that will allow our subscribers to access great Cinemax content from any Internet-connected computer or mobile device," Mrs Simmons said.
Cable Bahamas has also announced the launch of an entirely new premium movie channel package that is being added to REVTV, called FOX+. This new 10-channel package starts a two-week free preview October 15 on channels 510-519. The package features movies and original series like Power, Outlander, Black Sails and Survivor's Remorse. Also included with a subscription to FOX+ is more than 500 hours of video on demand content at no additional cost. FOX+ will be available by subscription starting November 1 for $13.99 per month.
