While here, Mr. Davis visited the construction site of the $6 million Police Fire Station that sits on three acres of land, donated by the Grand Bahama Port Authority. The station is being built by Patrick McDonald Construction and this 11,660-square-foot structure will be outfitted with all the modern amenities, such as a police dormitory, police training room, an operator's office, police locker room, exercise room, day room, dining room, and kitchen. There will also be changing areas, showers and laundry room.
