The Foreign Minister Fred Mitchell has extended on behalf of the government of The Bahamas congratulations to Dr.Keith Rowley and the Peoples National Movement in Trinidad on their election to office in general elections yesterday 7 September.

Mr.Mitchell said that The Bahamas looked forward to continued cooperation with Trinidad and Tobago in working on matters of mutual interest. The Foreign Minister and his delegation left Trinidad this morning for Dominica.
