Third Annual Potcakeman Triathlon gets a boost from PowerAde

On September 5th, BAARK! (Bahamas Alliance for Animal Rights and Kindness) will host its third triathlon on Jaws Beach. This year, for the second time, Caribbean Bottling Company, the local distributors of Coca-Cola products, will be the event's title sponsor, dubbing the event the PowerAde Potcakeman Triathlon.

"PowerAde is the perfect hydration for our athletes and it's great to be alongside a company so passionate about community involvement." he PowerAde Potcakeman Triathlon is a sprint distance race consisting of a 750m swim, 21k bike and 5k run. Athletes can choose to complete all three disciplines or form a relay team to compete with. Following the adult race is a shortened Puppy Triathlon for children ages 6-14. You can register on or before midnight on September 1st on the event's website:

The PowerAde Potcakeman Triathlon is now the largest triathlon event in the Bahamas, with over 200 participants and all proceeds each year goes towards BAARK!'s spay/neuter and education programs across The Bahamas.
