A match made in tea party heaven. That's how Milo B. Butler & Sons Ltd. Brand Manager Margo Gibson describes the partnership between the company's Twinings of London tea brand and the Miss Bahamas Organization, as they prepare to host "Tea Party With A Twist" on Sunday, August 9. "When the MBO team approached us to become corporate sponsors of this year's pageant, it seemed like a natural fit to co-host the tea party and link the event to our Twinings tea products," Gibson explained.

"Twinings has produced the finest tea for over 300 years and has been an exclusive Milo Butler brand for more than 12 years. This summer, we introduced new packaging on the teas and have conducted in-store samplings. On Sunday, we're adding a twist to the traditional tea party, serving hot and cold teas while engaging the contestants, judges and pageant affiliates at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas."

Milo B. Butler & Sons Ltd. arranged for the reigning queens and pageant officials to meet Siobhan Rodwell, regional manager, Twinings International Markets, who was in town for the repackaging exercise. Jerome Sawyer, director of media relations for the Miss Bahamas Organization, thanked Milo B. Butler & Sons Ltd and Twinings for their support.

"The Miss Bahamas Organization is pleased to partner with Twinings Tea and its local distributor, Milo B. Butler & Sons," Sawyer said.

"As we celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the Miss Bahamas Organization, we set out to deliberately find partners who would help represent the essence of this organization. Twinings is an internationally known and respected brand. We look forward to a meaningful relationship in the future."

The 2015 Miss Bahamas beauty pageant will take place on August 30 at Atlantis resort.
