MP questions 'secrecy' surrounding BTC deal

Another powerful political voice has been added to the growing chorus of discontent over the government’s proposed sale of the controlling interest in the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) to Cable and Wireless Communications (CWC).

Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador Member of Parliament Philip Brave Davis yesterday spoke out on the contentious issue, claiming the government has shrouded the deal in secrecy and might have to reconsider the entire proposition.
