Melanique
is a young Bahamian recording artist/ songwriter that is striving to achieve her goal of
becoming an international recording artist for the entire world to hear and
enjoy her music.

Melanique has been singing from the age of 7, and started singing professionally at the age 14. She has an album coming out in 2011. 

Some of her
influences are Aaliyah, Beyonce, Bob Marley, Rihanna, Michael Jackson, Mary J.
Blige, Wyclef Jean, and Lauryn Hill.

Bahamian artists that she looks up to and that inspire her are Ronnie Butler, Baha Men, and Bodine.
