Statement issued on behalf of Kathryn and Chris Vanhoeck, wife and father to Gary Vanhoeck, who was killed on Friday 1st May in New Providence, the Bahamas :

“We would like to thank all our friends and family for the support they have given since Gary was so brutally taken from us at Stuart Cove's Dive Centre. We have now returned to the UK to be with loved ones and arrange for a funeral service. We would like to thank the Royal Bahamas Police Force for their continuing efforts in investigating Gary’s murder and bringing all those involved to justice.

Gary was a loving husband and father to the both of us and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.”
