Sands beer is kicking it up a notch by donating to a mixed martial arts team in The Bahamas. Bahamian Brewery & Beverage Company Limited and Sands Beer are proud to sponsor the ‘Beast Mode’ Fight Team who are leading the charge in the sport of Empire Mixed Martial Arts. The team traveled to compete in ‘Combat Night at Passion’ at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida over the weekend.

Founded in 2006, the team consists of over twenty members who have been competing nationally and representing the Bahamas abroad at top level MMA Events. Since 2009, they have been led by Head Coach Dr. Kent Bazard, a long time fighter for over 33 years.

“When we were presented with the opportunity to get involved with the Beast Mode Fight Team, it was a no-brainer for us,” said Michelle Fox, Marketing Manager. “We are a huge supporter of sports, and this was just another sport that we could get involved with, and help to succeed. All of us here at the Brewery wish the team great success as they compete.”

Sands Beer is pleased to support the ‘Beast Mode’ Fight Team and looks forward to assisting the growth of the sport in The Bahamas. Sands Beer is working to revitalise the sport of sculling in The Bahamas, has supported flag football, darts and now sponsoring this Mixed Martial Arts team.
