More Sponsors Sign On For Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend 2015

A leading energy company, a fast food chain, a major bank and two shipping companies are just the latest to sign on as sponsors of the 6th Annual Sunshine Insurance Race Weekend (SIRW) 2015.

Statoil South Riding Point, SUBWAY, RBC Royal Bank (Bahamas) Limited, The MAILBOAT Company Ltd. and Tropical Shipping, join scores of other corporate citizens in either sponsoring or providing in-kind services to SIRW.

SIRW is a community effort that brings awareness to the cancer fight and raises money for the cause.

The Susan G. Komen Bahamas Race for the Cure® and Marathon Bahamas events are slated to take place January 17-18.

The Cancer Society of The Bahamas, the Cancer Association of Grand Bahama, the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, the Bahamas Breast Cancer Initiative Foundation (BBCIF) and Sister Sister Breast Cancer Support Group will split the proceeds from the two-day event.
