Wendy?s Thompson Blvd. Gets New Look!

Patrons of Wendy’s Thompson Blvd. received an early Christmas present on November 29th when the popular quick-service restaurant opened its doors, to reveal a newly renovated, and stylishly-modern facility.

Although the restaurant’s dining room closure was brief, the stunning ‘new look’ was the result of several months of intense planning and liaising between Wendy’s internal Project Development Team, and leading international design firms. Once plans were finalized, the Wendy’s team swung into action, and like a well-oiled machine, expertly rebuilt the store in a record-breaking eight-day period.

“This restaurant is the second in our chain of nine to undergo this kind of transformation,” explains Chris Tsavoussis, President Of Wendy’s (Bahamas). “I announced at the Grand Opening of our Cable Beach Store in October that the Thompson Blvd. location would be next in line to sport our new restaurant brand image, and we’re quite proud of the results. It’s important that as a brand Wendy’s leads the way in providing our customers with the finest amenities and technological advances to compliment their dining experience, and enhance every moment spent in our restaurants.”

Upon entering the Thompson Blvd. dining room guests will instantly observe the spacious new seating layout; plush, double-padded seats; crystal clear, state-of-the-art digital display menu boards; an alluring color scheme; and a contemporary new look that welcomes and captivates the senses all at once.

“Walking into the restaurant was a very pleasant surprise to say the least,” chides long time customer Paul Fernander, who was the first person to stop in for lunch. “I realized that something was going on with the temporary closure, but honestly I didn’t expect all of this. The restaurant looks really fantastic, and the digital menu boards are definitely a cut above the rest. I mean the burgers look true to life!”

Beyond the obvious beauty, the goal of the renovation was to upgrade the facility and cater more fully to the needs of the many different customers who frequent it.

Additional group seating was added to accommodate the scores of students from the neighboring College Of The Bahamas who patronize the business, as well as families wishing to dine in.

In the quest to maintain its position as the country’s leading quick service restaurant, Wendy’s continues to evolve. Through insightful thinking and strategic execution, those at the helm of this successful brand are setting a standard of excellence and style that’s difficult to match.

For the owners of the company, Chris and Terry Tsavoussis, their motivation remains where it’s always been, “we do it for the customers who’ve come to expect nothing but the best from ‘their neighborhood Wendy’s.”
