The first weekend in December was plagued with armed robberies and several shooting incidents.
According to police reports, at about 2:30 in the afternoon on Friday Flamingo Web Cafe, located on Amos Ferguson Street and Poinciana Avenue, was robbed of an undetermined amount of cash. One of the store's customers was also robbed.
According to police, two men armed with handguns, one of whom was wearing a white t-shirt and a black pants, the other a multi-colored shirt and a blue jeans pants, entered the Flamingo Web Cafe and demanded cash.
They then made their getaway in a red 1997 Mitsubishi Montero sports utility vehicle, which they stole from another customer outside of the establishment, ...
