Minister of Financial Services Ryan Pinder will headline two afternoon sessions focused on public and private sector perspectives on engaging in a transparent world, at the upcoming Nassau Conference scheduled for Wednesday, October 22 at the British Colonial Hilton, Nassau.
Pinder will deliver a policy perspective on engaging in a world requiring greater transparency.
During his lunchtime presentation, the minister will touch on several key elements of importance to the sector including immigration and residency, opportunities in new markets and the need for continued product innovation.
Pinder will also underscore the need for the sector's ongoing investment in human capital development, as evidenced by his ministry's sponsoring the attendance of students from The College of The Bahamas.
Following the minister's presentation, a group of industry leaders will offer a private sector perspective.
Samantha Knowles-Pratt, partner at Delaney Partners; David Munoz, CEO of Deltec International Group and David Thain, managing director of Arner Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd. will engage in a panel discussion about strategies, structures and services, providing an energetic conclusion to an information-packed day.
