Problems or opportunities

In Dr. Deepak Chopra's great book 'The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success', one of the laws is The Law of Least Effort. In the chapter which deals with that particular law he states as follows "I know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and this alertness to the opportunities allows me to take the moment and transform it into a greater benefit". Wow, what a great concept this really is as articulated by Dr. Chopra and of course it contains The Essence of Truth, for all problems encountered in our lives are indeed, when looked upon in the right light, with the right attitude and understanding, 'Golden Opportunities' to advance along the road of life toward the target which is Success City.
So My Friend, here's a question for you. When you're confronted with a really difficult situation in either your personal or professional life, do you view the situation as a 'Problem or Opportunity'? The answer to that most important question will reveal to you exactly what kind of mental attitude you have. That's right, positive minded people will see opportunities rather than problems, whilst negative people will only be able to see the problem. It's all about our perspective really, isn't it? Yes indeed it most certainly is!
When you're a really positive person, and not just someone who is pretending to be positive, and you're confronted with a problem, you will not panic or start to view the situation negatively thus actually blocking creative ideas from emerging from your consciousness which will assist you in solving the problem, thus turning it into what it is in reality, which is a 'Golden Opportunity' for you to succeed.
Now here's an example of exactly what I'm talking about today, and that is that problems, all problems are in effect opportunities when viewed with PMA, a Positive Mental Attitude. Many years ago I had a serious problem. I was in business for myself and I had to send out written proposals to my potential clients in order to acquire some much needed business. However, I did not have enough money to employ a Secretary. So I borrowed a small portable typewriter from a friend and would literally spend hours in the evenings typing with two fingers my business proposals.
In the end, although self-taught, I type very well and indeed quite fast today which of course is a most valuable asset to have in this day and age of internet communication. If I had not had that problem, I would not have learned to type. So my problem way back then did indeed turn out to be a 'Golden Opportunity' for me.
