Bahamas International Film Festival opens with British comedy and Hispanic gala

Paradise Island - The
Bahamas International Film Festival got underway last evening, December
2nd with the hilarious British comedy, Tamara Drewe directed by Stephen
Frears and written by Moira Buffini.  American television and film
critic, Jeffrey Lyons.

Founder of the Bahamas international Film Festival, Leslie Vanderpool
welcomed guests to the Festival now in its 7th year. Also giving remarks
was the Minister of Youth Sports and Culture, the Hon Charles Maynard,
the Bahamas Director General of the Ministry of Tourism, David Johnson...
