Burger King has a new location on Carmichael Road, featuring the brand's new "20/20" design model with a sleek and contemporary color scheme, a new customer-friendly interior, eye-catching digital display interior menu boards, free WiFi and convenient drive-through access.
The attraction of Carmichael Road - one of the most increasingly vital and dynamic communities in New Providence - is clear; in fact, the new Burger King is in the new Shops at Carmichael Plaza, next to a new Scotiabank.
"We have invested nearly a million dollars in this new location," said Ash Henderson, director of marketing at Restaurant Services Ltd, the company that handles marketing for Burger King Nassau.
"The restaurant features an entirely new exterior and interior design that showcases the newest visual identity of the Burger King brand. We have new seating, all new kitchen equipment, free WiFi, digital interior menu boards and newly designed drive-through menu boards with order confirmation screens."
Henderson also addressed the question of staff.
"We're taking on 61 new team members and managers, bringing our total workforce in Nassau to over 230 employees," he said.
He said the Carmichael Road area is one of the fastest growing communities in New Providence, both residentially and commercially, and the company was "excited to take advantage of the opportunity to bring the Burger King brand to as many customers, as conveniently as possible, in Nassau."
The Carmichael Road store raises the brand's restaurant count to six on the island, following its Bernard Road, West Bay Street, Frederick Street, Prince Charles and Tonique Williams-Darling Highway locations.
"We are so proud to open the sixth Burger King Nassau location, and we are thrilled to be able to offer the great-tasting food Bahamians love and expect from the Burger King experience to Carmichael area customers," said Mario Cash, director of operations at Burger King Nassau. "We're confident that our offerings and our clean and modernized store look will be well received. We look forward to welcoming and serving guests at the brand's newest location."
The grand opening celebration for Burger King Carmichael will take place on Saturday, September 20 at the restaurant's grounds, and will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, live remote broadcast and fun-filled dining experience for guests.
Henderson suggested that the brand was not particularly threatened by increased
competition from the likes of Carl's Jr.
"Burger King has been proudly creating great tasting fire-grilled burgers and delicious sandwiches since 1954, including our signature Whopper burger," he said. "We're confident in the quality of our great-tasting food, our exceptional service and our welcoming atmosphere."
