Nassau: The local charter captains report that the fishing off of Nassau has been slow this week. They have been made to work hard to catch a few offshore pelagics such as mahi and blackfin tuna. The bottom fishing has been very good for yellowtail snapper on the deep reefs.

North Eleuthera: Captain Devon Sawyer reports that there have been lots of tuna hooked at James Point but the "man in the grey suit" has been getting them before they can land them.

South Eleuthera, Cape Eleuthera: Leon Gibson of Cape Eleuthera reports that the offshore fishing has been dead. Most anglers have opted to go bottom fishing for snapper and grouper.
