Minister of Tourism the Hon. Obie Wilchcombe was the guest speaker at the recent ceremony by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to reward two Grand Bahama college students for their sports accomplishments:

It's not always only about the number of bedrooms and the price.

A real estate transaction can involve feelings of joy, anger, love, hate, sadness, disgust, surprise, expectation, anticipation, just to name a few.

As real estate brokers, our job is part business consultant and part psychologist. When you want to sell your property, you call a real estate agent who meets with you and "takes a listing".

The agent asks the Sellers to put their emotions about the value of the property on hold, and allow the agent to be objective in appraising their home...

A new business will soon open at Stocking Island, Exuma due to government assistance, said Exuma entrepreneur Daron "Big D" Tucker. Mr. Tucker, the proprietor of Big D's Conch Shack at Steventon, said the government has made two and a half acres of land available to him to open another location of his popular eatery.

In addition, he will use a "conch tour" to teach Bahamians and visitors about the popular Bahamian food, all due to the government's assistance.
