The Bahamas Alliance for the Blind and Visually Impaired is a voluntary, nonprofit organization, which was established March 10, 1997 to support and assist persons who are blind and visually impaired. Our mission is to actively promote effective measures for the preservation of sight, and for the education and training, rehabilitation, employment and well-being, and to do all things to facilitate the integration of the blind and visually impaired in the Bahamas society. The Alliance has a Constitution and is registered in the office of the Department of the Registrar.
