Tales for Tots At Ardastra Gardens Zoo

Save the date for Tales for Tots at the zoo! You and your toddler will share story-time, games, crafts, animal encounters and nature play.
Ages: For children 5 and under accompanied by an adult
Price: $10 for a child with an adult, $5 for members, $5 for additional children. *Please note price is for the program only, adult zoo admission can be added-on to the program for $4.75*

12th Annual Symposium on Peace: Activating A Global Shift Towards Peace

We have invited several distinguished peace builders known for their work internationally. Their efforts span from war zones of Sierra Leone, Africa; land reform and urban poverty in Scotland; Native American rights in the United States, and international efforts on environmental justice.
We open on May 22 evening with our dear friend, Matthew Fox, founder of Creation Spirituality, who has dedicated his life to saving the earth and has published 34 books.
We are hosting a special Lakota Native American Peace Ceremony on Friday, May 24 at noon, led by an indigenous spiritual leader from Taos, New Mexico, US.
Evening lectures are at 8pm. Lectures are free. Afternoon workshop are at Noon and 2pm. Afternoon workshops are $10.

LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS
From May 22 - May 27, 2019 there are several ways to participate in the gathering:
1. Evening lectures each are held Wednesday, May 22 through Sunday, May 27. Our event closes on Sunday, May 27 with a panel discussion. Evening lectures are free.
2. Afternoon workshops will be held Thursday, May 23 through Sunday, May 27. Afternoon workshops are $10.
Getting to the Ashram on Paradise Island:
Our boat dock is located at Elizabeth on Bay Marketplace and Marina in downtown Nassau. Boat trip takes 4 minutes, crossing bay from Downtown Nassau to Paradise Island. The boat schedule is as follows:
7:45am, 10:30am, 11:05am, 12:05pm, 1:05pm, 2:05pm, 3:05pm, 3:40pm, 6:35pm, 7:20pm
Tea on the Terrace at Jacaranda House

Tea on the Terrace at Jacaranda House will be held on Sunday, May 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Signature iced teas, mimosas, a fashion show, live music, singing by Stazzie, and more, will promise to make this a memorable event.
