THE DETAILS
This life-changing 5 day, 6 night all-inclusive retreat for women is scheduled for February 25th - March 1st, 2019 at our breathtaking, private beachfront villa on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
In a safe and supportive environment, participants will explore themselves, their current challenges and opportunities. You will learn how to navigate change in a way that increases your resilience, choices and freedom. This coached process, along with the programs tools, concepts and practice sessions will allow you to emerge empowered and prepared to shape your future. Topics covered in this program include:
Power of intention
Self-confidence
Rescue triangle
Asking for your 100%
Creating a community
Establish your plan
Self-care practices
Around these topics, the program provides individual and and group coaching, small group sharing and individual & group exercises. These activities will lead to the creation of a participant’s personal plan.
The retreat runs 5 full days of program activity therefore 6 nights of accommodation are provided. Participants should plan to arrive Sunday February 24th (check-in from 3pm) and depart on Saturday March 2nd (checkout by 10am).
A casual welcome reception and dinner is planned for Sunday February 24th at 6pm.
The rate includes accommodation for 6 nights, daily continental breakfast, lunch, family style dinner and non-alcoholic beverages.

Living History At Fort Charlotte

Fort Charlotte, constructed during the governorship of Lord Dunmore (1787-1796), was named in honor of the wife of King George III. There are actually three forts: Fort Charlotte, the eastern section, Fort Stanley, the middle section, and Fort D’Arcy, the western section.
The building of the forts, out of solid rock, began in 1787 and was completed in 1819. A dry moat surrounds Fort Charlotte and it is spanned by a wooden bridge on the north side. The forts and military installations in New Providence and throughout The Bahamas formed such an insurmountable defense system that potential invaders were discouraged, and, as a result, these forts never fired a gun in battle.
Every Monday and Wednesday, the Royal Bahamas Defense Force (RBDF) Rangers perform military drills, play music, and fire the cannon (12:00 pm) in West India Regiment uniforms. Staff of the Antiquities, Museums , and Monuments Corporation (AMMC) are dressed in period costumes to show how people dressed back then and what life was like.
