Hosting the 2nd Annual Expo in The Bahamas provides a forum for beauty industry stakeholders, US/Caribbean media in addition to US and Caribbean based suppliers and distributors to network and educate Caribbean beauty professionals while experiencing The Bahamas as a luxury destination in close proximity to the US and our Caribbean neighbors. During this 3-day Event, the Caribbean Beauty Pro Expo is a Beauty extravaganza showcasing a conglomerate of talents from and products distributed in Caribbean countries. Moreover, the Expo creates a platform for vendors to access the Caribbean market directly and attracts professionals from across the Caribbean hosting over 200 industry professionals in a single space with innovative workshop sessions, advance education classes, creative competitions and much more! The Expo is open to beauty professionals, currently enrolled cosmetology students and educators.

AbunDance in Bahamas Summer Arts Intensive

For the first time, and certainly not our last, AbunDance Academy of the Arts presents a weeklong Summer Intensive in the heart of The Bahamas. Our Summer Intensive will allow students to further their technique and choreography skills with in-depth classes in Dance, Vocal, Health/Fitness and Audition Performance.
For five days, from Monday July 16th - Friday July 20th, our full day program will fine-tune the fundamentals of Ballet, African, Modern, Hip-Hop, Jazz and Vocal. Early Bird Admission including Registration Fee is $135 (online)/ $125 (in person with Participating Institutions) until July 7th. Regular admission from July 7th - July 16 is $160(online)/ $150 (in person with Participating Institutions).
Single classes are $20 per class. With classes that encourage Discipline and explore Body Image, Confidence, Weight and Food/Nutrition students improve their skills not only in Dance, in life as well. As a part of the Summer Intensive, classes are smaller so students receive personal coaching and teaching from Teaching Artists affiliated with some of the top Arts Institutions in the World.
As they expand their creativity and imagination, they become more well-rounded, upstanding individuals in their communities. At the end of the AbunDance in Bahamas summer intensive, there will be a studio Showcase where students present work from each class.

Designed for talented arts-minded highschool seniors who are highly motivated students with an interest to pursue a degree in the arts. Through unique and intensive studio projects, instruction, and professional development activities students will work towards building a strong university preparatory portfolio.
Mentored by UB art faculty, professional practicing and master artists they will learn and explore a range of foundation art courses including drawing, print-making, ceramics, 2D design, painting, and digital design
