All Mayaguana Regatta 2018

The All Mayaguana Regatta is expected to bring in large numbers of out Islanders. The entire week will consist of a number of different events:
? Sunday - Church Service
? Monday - Old Fashion Program
? Tuesday - Fish Fry
? Wednesday - Dedication of stalls (opening of stalls)
? Thursday - Boat registration, Skippers party
? Friday - Official site opening, First C Class Race
? Saturday - Second C Class Race
? Sunday - Final Race, trophy presentation, fireworks.
Also, each night will consist of cultural experiences, a Junkanoo rush-out, community band performances, climbing of the greasy pole, plaiting of the Maypole, and live band music.

Goombay Summer Festival: The Abacos

This summer festival is presented by the Ministry of Tourism to showcase the vibrant and exciting Bahamian culture. Both locals and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious local foods, great entertainment, Junkanoo rush-outs, beautiful local crafts and a host of cultural presentations.
Other activities will include: entertainment by DMac, performances by the Goombay Dancers, plus Lady E and other dancers, a Skit/Play, a character for kids, and more.
