The One Family Junkanoo and Community Organization proudly announces its 9th Annual Rush Back to School, which will take place on Saturday, August 24th, at the community park in Hay Street. This event launches the Warriors for Excellence Youth Programme for the school year 2013-2014, and is designed to encourage and motivate our children to excel in school.

The event kicks off with a One Family Rush from the park in Taylor Street beginning at 5:00 p.m., west to Market Street, north to Hay Street, to the Hay Street Park. There, prayers will be said for the children, their families and their schools, after which school packets will be distributed and refreshments served. Also in attendance to motivate the children will be the Urban Renewal Band, the Royal Bahamas Police Force K-9 Unit, and the Fire Services Department.
