Call for Artwork Meeting for new Hospital Block

TOMORROW: Friday, March 22nd at 10am
Public Hospital Authority, Training Room 2

On behalf of the Princess Margaret Hospital, the Public Health Authority, TDG Architects and The Beck Group invite the Bahamian artist community to sit in on a briefing and kick-off meeting to present specific details of the hospital expansion?s design concepts and areas of opportunity.

The information meeting will be held on: Friday, March 22nd at 10am at the Public Hospital Authority, Training Room 2.

As part of the Princess Margaret Hospital?s New Entry and Critical Care Block project, the hospital is interested in celebrating Bahamian art as a permanent fixture in the new facility. The pride of the local community is important to Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as all of those involved. It is the intent to provide an environment that fosters healing and comfort, and artwork plays an integral part in this concept.

The project is in its final stages of construction. As such, it is important to begin the process of artist selection, artwork commissioning, and procurement.

We are very excited to continue with the development of this important project at Princess Margaret Hospital. Your involvement is a critical piece and we look forward to working with you to help provide an environment that promotes healing and growth.
