About the Course

This interactive program is designed to provide employees with the foundational structure in basic writing mastery to communicate more effectively with clients, co-workers and Sr. Management. The program will explore the practicalities of writing inter-office emails, letters, memos and reports. At the end of the session, employees will be better able to:

plan the structure of a document to ensure correct information flow
choose appropriate words for the type of document being written
write crisp, clear sentences
produce concise letters, memos, emails and reports
adjust writing style to suit the requirements of the topic and the reader
plan, draft, sequence and structure written communications in various styles and formats using correct and appropriate language
review and proofread written communications for appropriate style, correct and appropriate language, sequence and structure, and readability
write communications in the styles and to the standards required by your workplace and appropriate for your audience.



About the Facilitator:

Suzanne C. Knowles has served as a professor of English studies and profound and acclaimed Educator for more than 25 years. She was educated at the University of The West Indies up to the graduate level and has assisted a number of organizations and authors with her incredible writing and editing skills. Her engaging style allows individuals to come to the learning table with a sense of ease as she skillfully steers them towards greater success and self actualization in written communication.
