COB "Meet the Writer" Series: SONIA FARMER

The College of The Bahamas School of English Studies invites you to an evening of poetry with Miss Sonia Farmer, the 2011 Winner of the Small Axe Literary Prize for Poetry. Distinguished Bahamian poets Philip Armbrister and Janice Lynn, whose work made the shortlist of the same award, will also be presenting their poetry.

The reading will take place upstairs at Chapter One Bookstore on Thompson Blvd. in the Michael H. Eldon Complex of The College of The Bahamas on Thursday, March 8th, 2012 at 6pm.

Small Axe: A Caribbean Journal of Criticism is a publication of Duke University Press and is published three times a year. it focuses on publishing critical work that examines the ideas that guided the formation of Caribbean modernities. It mainly includes scholarly articles, opinion essays, and interviews, but it also includes literary works of fiction and poetry, visual arts, and reviews.
