Bahamian Sunday Brunch at The Ocean Club

Nassau's finest buffet brunch offers Bahamian comforts alongside international favourites. An abundance of choice is offered, from conch chowder to basil tomato soup; made-to-order omelettes with plantain and ham; an extensive salad bar that also features DUNE favourites of hummus or guacamole; shrimp and Alaskan king crab legs alongside charcuterie and imported cheese. All this to lead up to the Bahamian highlights from Chef de Cuisine Shaniqua Darling, including jerked chicken and pineapple kebobs, Bahamian cracked lobster, and of course peas and rice, toasted sweet plantains, and grilled corn on the cob. The sweetest end of all comes courtesy of Nassauian Executive Pastry Chef Tessa Lightbourne in charge of the day’s guava bread pudding, island coconut tart, rum cake, mango panna cotta, and orange crème brûlée with white chocolate ganache.
