The Doug Williams Redskins Legends Weekend is an annual event that began last year to allow fans and others to enjoy the majestic Bahamas in an intimate and relaxing setting, while experiencing stimulating interaction with entrepreneurs, political leaders and current and former Redskins legends. Participants will also meet the Washington Redskins Cheerleadersand celebrity Larry Michael, the Voice of the Redskins.

The Legends: Each Year Doug Williams invites celebrities and former Redskins teammates to join him. This year invited guests include:​ "Doc" Walker, Ricky Sanders, Ravin Caldwell, Dexter Manley, Vernon Dean, Jeff Bostic, Santana Moss, Larry Michael and current player D.J. Swearinger.

Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas, and lies on the island of New Providence, with neighboring Paradise Island accessible via Nassau Harbor bridges. The city is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling.

Temperatures in Nassau are relatively consistent throughout the year, with daytime temperatures normally between 73 and 81 o F, and rarely falling below 59 o. Cable Beach is famous for its golden sand beaches and its crystal-clear water from the Caribbean Sea.

Guests will stay at the luxurious Meli? Nassau Beach All-inclusive Resort, which is part of the Baha Mar Resort on Cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas. The resort includes a collection of celebrated hotels, including the Meli?, Baha Mar, and Grand Hyatt.
