Contrary to the view expressed publicly. I know that he always seeks a solution which does not divide our society.
And the Minster of State for Finance for his strong belief in Bahamian entrepreneurial talent and his continued tangible support of their cause.

2013 Great Abaco Family Fitness Weekend: Mile Open Water Swim
"This is our second year for the event, and the support from the community has been wonderful. We have a lot of prizes to give out and this year we have started early on promotion. To date we are far ahead of where we were last year in terms of registrations numbers, and we still have about 7 weeks left till the event," said Lee McCoy, managing director. "We have been advertising locally and abroad and the response has been positive, with registrations already in from Abaco, Nassau, Freeport, Florida, South Carolina, Illinois, Virginia and California to name a few. So far it looks like the women's sprint triathlon will be a hotly contested event, and I'm excited to see the level of competition and camaraderie that will take place throughout the weekend."

Distance: 1 Mile (~1600m)
Course Information:
The 1 mile Open Water Swim will be hosted by the Abaco Swim Club. The swim will take place on the North side of Treasure Cay. Treasure Cay Beach is the most sparkling natural feature of the coastal regions on the island of Abaco. “Stunning” is the word for this 3.5-mile stretch of sugar-soft, powdery white sand, matched only in brilliance by the sparkling diamond and turquoise water colors lapping at its shore. Treasure Cay Beach was voted one of the region’s top 10 beaches in a reader poll by Caribbean Travel & Life.
The course will be an out and back, with bouys separating the middle of the course. Please leave the bouys to your right, similar to how you would circle in a lane pool.
This course is for individuals only, no relay teams will be allowed.
