"Runway to Fashion Week" winner to join IWFW 2010 Designer Line-Up
The “Islands of the World Fashion Week” 2010 season is officially underway! On Sunday, October 3rd, scores of fashion spectators were engaged in the excitement and allure of the Mode Îles Ltd. produced, “Runway to Fashion Week”. This highly anticipated event, loosely based on American reality series “Project Runway”, was designed to engage and expose novice Bahamian designers to the wider fashion community; both locally and internationally.

BENEVOLENCE is nothing new to Phyllis Garraway, Debbie Geear Bethell and the Yodephy Dance & Modelling Academy.
It has always been their inclination to increase the well being of those living in the community. In the past they have done so by hosting events that have benefited charitable organisations. They have donated much of their time to organising fashion shows for the Heart Ball, and have worked on numerous occasions with the Cancer Society and other organisations.

appreciative audiences who are anxious for the experience of runway,
beauty, poise and pizazz. First timers leave in awe of the world of

(PHOTOS) Deja Nu fashion event supports the Grand Bahama Humane Society
Freeport, Bahamas - The Deja Nu "The Music of Old the Fashion
of New" event was held this past Saturday evening at the Xanadu Beach
Resort - poolside. This event was in support of the Grand Bahama
Humane Society and part proceeds from all ticket and raffle sales will
go to this cause.
Event brainchild, Ashley Baker would like to thank all of
those who made it possible, in particular the sponsors of the event.
