Two Bahamian men were arrested shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday in waters north of Alice Town, Bimini, in connection with a $2.3 million cocaine bust, Assistant Commissioner of Police Samuel Butler reported.

More than 3 million in drugs seized

Authorities arrested three men on Andros on Monday in connection with a $3.2 million marijuana seizure, according to police.
Officers located a go-fast smuggling boat around 4:30 p.m. in Fresh Creek. Police said the boat ran aground.
A search of the area led to the discovery of 78 large packages containing 3,202 pounds of marijuana, authorities said.
