A funeral service will be held for Craig Anthon Rolle, 36, of Saffron Street, Pinewood Gardens, at 11am on Saturday, February 12, at Rhodes Memorial Methodist Church in Montrose Avenue.
Officiating will be Rev Livingstone Malcolm, assisted by Rev Emily A Demeritte. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery, Soldier Road.

IT was at the tender age of three that Bahamian recording artist Raquel Oliver first experienced the joys of music by listening to her church's choir in Grand Bahama.
Now at the age of 23, Raquel is one of the hottest young Bahamian artists who has already opened for international reggae stars.
Speaking with In Ya Ear, the singer recalled the first time she heard herself on the radio: "I was 16, the song was 'Bahamaland', it played on the radio and the school played it over the PA system. I was in my ninth English class and they interrupted classes to let the school hear my song."

Pastor Earl Randolph Fraser on Tuesday passionately denied a string of sexual allegations brought by a teenage member of his church.
Fraser, pastor of Pilgrim Baptist Church on St. James Road, is accused of having an affair with a 16-year-old that allegedly began in July 2005 and ended in February 2006. Prosecutors allege that Fraser abused his position of trust by allegedly beginning the sexual relationship with the girl who had come to him for counseling.
The girl has alleged that she had sex with Fraser at his church before services began on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Fraser said, “I must be a moron or a monster to engage in such activities before going to preach the word of God.” ...

Town Meeting Traffic Flow Changes The Pond The residents of the pond and the public at large are invited to attend a town meeting where changes to traffic flow in the area of the Pond will be discussed. The changes are to be implemented on a trail basis so as to improve overall traffic flow heading east along east bay street (between Armstrong Street and Montagu) and West along Shirley Street (between Kemp Road and Chruch Street) in conjunction with improvements being made Eastern Road and Montagu Beach. These changes were presented to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport as a result of a survey of Pond residents and traffic flow study was commissioned by We The People.
