collection must appeal to a woman of exquisite taste. Attention will be
given to the designer's expression of style, creativity, selection of
fabric and color, and quality of execution of the designs. The deciding
piece will be the red carpet design for that exclusive engagement."

IWFW Announce Designers of the Runway for 2010

Mode Iles, producers of the acclaimed "

Islands of the World Fashion
Week", today announce the designer lineup for the IWFW 2010 show in

November 11-13, to be held at The British Colonial Hilton. Including
guest designers from the popular American television series, "Project
Runway", 18 talented, island-based designers, representing 9 island
nations, will take to the runway in this year's event.

Islands of the World Fashion Week Fourth Annual Event

This Event Has Been Canceled, Rescheduled For May 2012 In an effort to take the designers beyond the islands and into the broader fashion industry, Mode Îles Ltd, producers of IWFW, has partnered with noted fashion institute “Parsons The New School for Design”, to create this reality. IWFW 2010 award-winning designers David Rolle (Bahamas) and Theodore Elyett; “Runway to Fashion Week” winner (Bahamas), were each given the opportunity to attend Parsons for their Summer Studies program. Leading up to the IWFW 2011 runway event in November, Mode Îles Ltd will once again host the "Islands of the World Fashion Tour"; a caravn of island-based designers, “Runway to Fashion Week” novice designer competition, the “Fashion in Film Series” and other innovative programs that will assist in creating the awareness of the fashion industry within island nations.
