GB company closing, says power company acting like 'gangsters'

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama - In a letter to the people of Grand Bahama, part-owner of two Freeport factories accused the Grand Bahama Power Company
of acting like gangsters – overcharging, intimidating and bullying customers.

Steve Howes, a partner in Fenestration and Glass Services (fenestration definition here) said he deeply regretted the decision to leave The Bahamas but felt the company had no choice. More than five hundred jobs will leave with the company, accounting for the company's plans for expansion.
