Happy Foods 242 is is the brainchild of Sasha Laurel, a food enthusiast from the beautiful islands of The Bahamas. For years, Sasha is the food guru amongst her peers? offering the inside scoop to the town's hottest food spots. She sat on the idea of creating a food show for quite some time until she finally decided to make the time and follow her true passion in 2014! Follow Sasha as she happy dances her way into The Bahamas' trendiest food joints, and offers some insight into where you should spend you next date, birthday, or lunch break!

Meet Sasha Laurel!

This food lover was born on May 20th 1985 to Michael and Virgil Lightbourne. She was exposed to good food and fine dining at a young age, and always had an appreciation for it. Having a background in Media Journalism, Sasha decided to integrate her media influence and love of food. Thus, Happy Foods 242 was born! In her spare time she enjoys eating at different restaurants, going to the movies and the beach and spending time with her family. She attends Kemp Road Ministries and is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.
