Description
Sky Climbers is a rock-climbing facility with programmes for children in Nassau since September 2008. To date we have provided over 35,000 experiences to the Bahamian youth through school sports programmes, camps and climbing clubs. All our rock-climbing programs focus on teaching goal setting, furthering self-confidence and encouraging teamwork.
Sky Climbers in operated by the Butch Kerzner Summit Foundation whose mission is to benefit the youth of the Bahamas. The BKSF is “dedicated to the little bit of greatness inside everyone”.
SKY CLIMBERS CAMP
These camps with coordination from Atlantis offer an intensive rock-climbing workshop where youth ages 7-18 years old are invited to attend the facility for multiple days. Look for these camps to be held during school holidays and summer vacations. This program, like our introduction, focuses on climbing and personal development but with more time concentrated on these skills with smaller groups. It is common for youth who are introduced to the facility through the introduction to graduate to the holiday camp in an effort to continue their experience and learning with in the facility. The holiday camp unlike the other programs has a registration fee to help cover its operational cost.
